The Stone Oak Property Owners Association's Management Office provided the following info to members of the Stone Oak POA Advisory Committee (Joan Kaufman is The Springs representative):
Hello, everyone! Buz and I located some information on Via?’s website regarding the bus route here in Stone Oak and wanted to share it with you in the event you or residents in your neighborhood may be interested.
Beginning November 5th, Bus No. 648?’s route will extend to our area, covering the area from North Central Baptist Hospital to Stone Oak Parkway to Sonterra Boulevard to Highway 281 and then continuing with its original route. Bus stop locations will be monitored by Via to determine whether benches or enclosures are warranted.
If anyone is interested in seeing/printing the pocket schedule or map, you can go to http://www.viainfo.net and click on ?“Bus Service?” ?– the big orange ball in the middle. Then, scroll to the last paragraph on the next screen and click on ?“Bus Schedules,?” and scroll down to the bottom of the list for No. 648 and click on the Adobe Reader (.pdf) document.
If you try just entering the bus number on the website homepage, the map and schedule you?’ll be taken to are not updated.
