I wanted to share my experience with AT&T Uverse...

First of all they have been knocking on doors in the neighborhood, to solicit their services. Unless they received permission from the Springs of Stone Oak, I would consider this a clear violation of the No Soliciting sign posted at the gate.

Since I've had numerous signal problems with Dish, I decided to switch. I spent all day long last Saturday with the technician at my house. The order was totally screwed up, and I was also informed the IP Voice was just implemented in the neighborhood, and they are still working out the kinks.

The technician was supposed to be here at 8:00 this morning to fix the mess from last weekend and didn't show up. After numerous phone calls, I learned the technician assigned to the ticket didn't show up this morning for work....so my issues are still outstanding.

The residents of Springs should be aware that AT&T is not only having technical issues installing their services, but also have severe customer service issues.

 Thank you for the update; when the two men knocked on'

our door I questioned their presence and they replied that

they were updating in the neighborhood and wanted to make

everyone aware of their offerings.

i felt bothered when U-Verse came knocking at my door.... I made it clear to the two young men to stop solicitating....

If you want the better deal on U-Verse order your service on-line.  They will give up to $200 rebate check by ordering service on the internet.  Also, avoid making service calls on Monday (worst time) instead try making them on Wednesday or at the end of the week after 5:00 PM.

I'm thinking of getting U-verse.  Did you finally get the service installed?  And if so, how do you like it?  I've heard mixed reviews and it would be great to get an opinion from somebody in the same community.
