The Springs At Stone Oak

Have we had the Springs HOA meetig this year, 2009? 

No, the annual meeting has not yet been held.

While the Springs has historically held its annual HOA member meeting in January (and usually the Tuesday night after the MLK Monday holiday), the Board of Directors plan to hold this year's meeting in March.   The exact date, time, and location will be announced to all HOA members by letter 10-50 days before the scheduled date, as required by our By-Laws.

The March 2009 date would place this year's annual meeting a year after 2008's meeting.   As you may recall, the initial meeting last January was not conducted because the minimum number of members (44 owners, or 51%) were not present physically or by proxy, necessitating the rescheduling of the meeting for March 4, 2008.   A quorum was achieved for that meeting.

A notice that the annual meeting was not being held on January 20, 2009, as originally reflected on this website's Community Calendar, was added to the "Owners Association Meetings" item in the website's Community Pages.

The Springs HOA's 2009 Annual General Member Meeting, initially reflected on this website's Community Calendar to be held on January 20, 2009, will be conducted on Monday, March 16, 2009, 7:00p.m. at the Falcon Bank, 19230 Stone Oak Parkway (just north of Huebner).
